Friday,9/26, Saturday, 9/27, and Sunday, 9/28, we will be holding Scrap Pink Crops with a portion being donated to Susan G. Koman for the Cure.

Food, fun, games, give-aways, contests and cropping await you!

Friday Crop: 6:00-midnite

(snacks will be served)

Saturday Crop: 12:00-10:00pm

(snacks and dinner will be served)

Sunday Crop: 11:00-4:00

(snacks and a lite lunch will be served)

Design Team Call

In an effort to provide inspiration for our scrapbooking friends, Scrapper's Cafe has decided to form a Design Team!

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic scrapbookers who would like to share their talents with others. Do you have what it takes to work with the latest and greatest in scrapbooking products? Can you create beautiful layouts and altered projects in a timely manner? Are you up for the challenges and rewards of being part of our first Design Team? Then you are just who we are looking for!

Please send the following to scrapperscafe@aol.com by October 30, 2008.

* Contact information including Name, Address, Phone Number and Email Address
* Mini description/bio about yourself including how long you have been scrapbooking, why you love it, and what best describes your style. Also, include a personal headshot.
* Links to anything online that represent your work.
* Prior or current design team experience, if any.
* 1 single-page layout, 1 double-page layout, 1 altered project and 1 card that best represents your unique style.

Design Team Requirements

* Commitment to a 6-month term (January 1, 2009 - June 30. 2009).
* Must be a team player and be willing to participate in store activities, including special crops, challenges, contests, make 'n takes, etc., and other responsibilities as they arise.
* Promotion of Scrapper's Cafe on personal blogs and use of assigned, customized 'blinkies' where permitted.
* All projects designed for Scrapper's Cafe Design Team are exclusive to Scrapper's Cafe for the duration of the term.

Design Team Rewards

As a Design Team member you will experience the following rewards:

* Work displayed online and in-store.

Halloween/Fall Card Class

Are you ready for some 'spookiness'?

You will be making 6 cards, 3 for Halloween and 3 for Fall.
